Privacy and your account

Dialogyou uses Google sign-in to identify your account. We receive your Google account identifier, name and email address. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive or contacts.

Account information, learning preferences, conversation summaries, vocabulary, daily practice records and first successful Forbidden Words times are stored in a dedicated Cloudflare database. Each account can access only its own records. Guest data stays in your browser unless you choose to import it.

Voice practice sends audio and conversation content to OpenAI to generate spoken replies and learning feedback. Your microphone is used only when you start voice practice. Signing in does not start recording.

Secure cookies keep you signed in for up to 30 days. Signing out invalidates the session. Your browser keeps a separate local cache for each account so unsynced progress can be retried.
